Antenatal and Maternity Care:

Physiotherapy self-referrals

If you’re registered with a GP in Lambeth or Southwark, you can refer yourself to musculoskeletal physiotherapy for specialist assessment and management.

The Lambeth MSK app (powered by getUBetter) is provided free of charge by Lambeth for patients.

It can be accessed on a Smartphone or on the Web and guides you day-by-day through a sequence of exercises and tips to help you get better from a range of new or recurrent musculoskeletal conditions:

  • Lower back pain
  • Back and leg pain
  • Neck Pain
  • Shoulder Pain
  • Ankle Pain
  • Knee Pain
  • Soft Tissue Lower Limb
  • Hip

Please use an email address that is unique to you and select the condition you need help to manage. You will then be sent an email with all the information you need to get started. You can download the getUBetter app to your Smartphone for easiest access or use the Webapp.

If you develop another condition select your new condition from within the app and it will be added to your account.

The app will also connect you to your local; treatment, healthcare providers or support services if needed like Physiotherapy.

Minor Eye Care Services (MECS)

If you’re living in the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark you can now access a new service called MECS that provides assessment for many common eye conditions through your local optician.

Track a Referral

Track your referral on NHS App

If your doctor has referred you to a specialist for further care you will be asked to book your appointment using the ‘NHS e-Referral’ system.

You will receive a letter from us within 2 weeks giving details of how to book your appointment and any passwords you may need.

To track your e-Referral you will need the following details:

  • Your date of birth
  • Reference number – this will be on the first page of your letter
  • Password – this will be on the second page of your letter
